One of Australia’s most experienced sports journalists, Jim Main has been writing about football for 40 years, with more than 30 books on the code to his credit, as well as several crime titles. A Bachelor of Arts graduate with a major in history, he has covered Olympic and Commonwealth Games and other international sport, and was the sports editor of The Australian. He was inducted into the Melbourne Cricket Club Media Hall of Fame in 2003 and became a life member of the Australian Football Media Association in 2008.
