At The Slattery Media Group we are always looking for the next great book. We accept submissions for all book types, including literary non-fiction, cookbooks, children’s stories, autobiographies, craft, music and finance.

Submissions will be accepted in electronic or hardcopy format and can be sent to

Once we receive your submission you will be sent an email acknowledging receipt. We will endeavour to respond to all proposals as quickly as possible, but please allow up to three months. No further correspondence will be entered into.

If we are interested in your submission you will be contacted by SMG to arrange a meeting to further discuss your proposal.

Please include the following in your submissions:

• An overview of the proposal
• Sample chapter, so we can gauge an indicative writing style
• Chapter plan
• Brief author biography
• Where the book would sit in the market, including comparison titles, similar authors, intended authors, examples of previously published works
• Whether the book has been submitted to other publishers and, if so, please provide details
• Whether you have previously submitted a proposal to SMG
